Becoming A Patient of Renewed Outlook

We currently have limited availability for new patients across all locations. At this time, we are only accepting new patient appointment requests on a waitlist basis.

🔹 Not Accepting:
We are not accepting new psychotherapy-only patients. We are not adding anyone to the waitlist who is seeking therapy-only services.

🔹 Accepting:
We are currently accepting requests for new patient appointments for individuals seeking medication management or medication management with brief psychotherapy (30-minute follow-up visits). Brief psychotherapy is not intended to replace regular visits with a therapist or counselor.

🔹 Scheduling Availability:

  • Evening appointments are currently full.

  • An occasional evening follow-up slot may be available, but this is not guaranteed.

  • Late afternoon appointments are limited, and most appointments are scheduled during typical business hours.

  • We do not currently have weekend availability. While this may change in the future, this is not guaranteed.

  • We anticipate additional appointment times opening in late August or early September, though these slots have not yet been finalized.

📌 Controlled Substances Notice:
If you may be prescribed a controlled substance, an in-person visit is required before medication can be initiated. Additionally, ongoing periodic in-person visits will be required, as determined by the provider, insurance requirements, and DEA regulations. This applies to medications such as stimulants, benzodiazepines, certain sleep aids, and others.

Before submitting your request, please review the list of accepted and non-accepted insurance plans below to confirm eligibility. Also, please ensure you click “submit” after completing the form—if it is not submitted, we will not receive it, and we will not be able to contact you or add you to our waitlist.

We are able to accept most, but not all, Aetna plans through our partners at Alma.

Insurance we DO NOT accept at this time

  • Medicare

  • Medicare Advantage plans

  • Medicaid/Medical Assistance

  • Medicaid/Medical Assistance plans such as UPMC for You, Ambetter Health, United Healthcare Community Health Plan, etc.

  • ACCESS

  • Secondary Medicare or Medicaid/Medical Assistance plan

  • EAP (Employee Assistance Program/Plan) - these require special credentialing which we do not have
